The operating products include diesel engines, including 2 cylinders, 3 cylinders, 4 cylinders and 6 cylinders, with a power coverage of 10kw-300kw. It is a professional company that can produce natural gas engines in the province, with a power range of 10kw-300kw.

The generator sets of the company are selected from famous brand engines such as Cummins, Perkins, Deutz, Carter, Volvo, Steyr, Daewoo, Ricardo, etc. The engines are selected from high-quality suppliers such as Stanford, Marathon, Lelysima, etc.

Comparing the diesel generator sets based on the place of production, there are three types which are domestic original units, domestic engines and pure imported diesel generator sets.

Domestic engines: both diesel engine and generator adopt the domestic ones.

pure imported diesel generator sets: they are purchased, assembled and tested in foreign countries. Thus, their components are more high-grade, stable and standardized with rigorous testing results.

Generally speaking, domestic engine units have price advantages. However, this price advantage is only presented in the initial investment which is relatively low. However, domestic engine units usually have high fuel consumption which will lead to high operating costs. Besides, its high subsequent maintenance rate leads to high maintenance costs. This is one of the reasons that experienced clients often stop purchasing domestic units when the power is above 200 kilowatts.

The domestic original unit generally refers to the generator set with imported diesel engine. However, the resources of the other parts are randomly.

All high-power engines are produced by large foreign factories. Over 800 kilowatts, there is little difference in price between high-power units produced by domestic manufacturers and pure imported brand units. However, the units produced by large international companies are more willing to pay down the cost in the selection of components. In addition, the more raw materials they purchased at a single time, the lower the cost will be. Therefore, purely imported units are more competitive in the high-power segment.

It can be seen that the market level is basically clear. The target customers of small power units are small and medium-sized enterprises with limited purchasing power. Thus, their procurement tends to be closer to domestic units. The market of medium power units is basically controlled by major domestic enterprises using imported engines. International large companies occupy a certain market share in the medium power range. Their high-power units are their main target.

At present, many clients have a wait-and-see attitude to domestic diesel generator sets. In fact, with the increasing competitiveness, the after-sales service of domestic diesel generator sets is getting better and better. However, we still need to learn the service attitude from international suppliers.
