This is an indispensable important equipment for mineral processing production line. The flotation machine in proper form shall be selected according to the ore properties (such as washability, particle size, density, grade, pulp, pH, etc.). Mechanical stirring flotation machine can be selected when the ore is easy to be selected and the air charging volume is required to be small. When the selected ore particles are relatively coarse, KYF, BS-K and CLF flotation machines suitable for coarse particles can be selected. Flotation column with high ore rich ratio is especially suitable for cleaning operation. It can be selected, when the ore is easy to be beneficiated, the particle size is fine, the grade is high, and the pulp Ph is low.

(2) Flotation machine with corresponding specifications shall be selected according to the scale of the concentrator. Generally speaking, large-scale concentrators should use large-sized flotation machines, while medium-sized and small plants should use medium-sized or small-sized flotation machines. At the same time, they should also determine the specifications and quantity of flotation machines through technical and economic comparison.

(3) The cleaning operation is mainly to improve the concentrate grade. The flotation foam layer should be thin to separate gangue, rather than using a flotation machine with maximum capacity. Therefore, the flotation machine for concentration operation should be different from the flotation machine for roughing and scavenging operation.

(4) Attention must be paid to the manufacturing quality of flotation machine and the supply of spare parts, which should be investigated specifically.
