Wear resistant ceramic lined hydrocyclone

Wear resistant ceramic lined hydrocyclone

Introduction

Hydrocyclone is a equipment for classifying and separating mineral particles in centrifugal force field with tens to hundreds of times the acceleration of gravity. According to their different applications, hydrocyclones can be divided into classification cyclone, ultrafine classification cyclone, desliming cyclone, enrichment cyclone and so on. KSINO is committed to the research and development of new technologies and equipment for high efficiency and low consumption cyclone separation. Depending on the different technologies and continuous R&D, the company has effectively improved the separation efficiency of the hydrocyclone and reduced the energy consumption of the equipment.

Product characteristics:

Hydrocyclone equipment are seriously worn and need to be adjusted or even replaced frequently, which seriously affects the quality and efficiency of beneficiation. Our company can tailor design and manufacture various cyclone ceramic linings according to the general size and shape of the cyclone. The materials are aluminum oxide wear-resistant ceramics or high wear-resistant composite SiC ceramic materials. The wear-resistant performance can ensure the continuous and stable operation of the cyclone for a long time. The service life is 4-6 times that of ordinary polyurethane materials, and the cost performance ratio is very high.

Our company provides a variety of special ceramic plates for hydrocyclones, and provides replacement and maintenance services for hydrocyclone liners.

Structural features of cyclone ceramic lining:

1. According to the shape of cyclone cylinder, cone tube, underflow port tube and other parts, special size ceramic blocks are designed with reasonable structure and small gap;

2. The ceramic is silicon carbide or alumina ceramic;

3. The wear-resistant ceramics are fixed with high-strength modified viscose and staggered joint pasting technology, without linear gap, firmly bonded without falling off, and suitable for high impact, large flow or dynamic operation and other adverse conditions;

4. The inner wall is smooth, the materials are smooth, and the height difference between the ceramics is within 0.5mm, which can maintain the tangential velocity of the slurry in the hydrocyclone, reduce the energy loss, and obtain an ideal classification effect.

Applications:

The high-strength and wear-resistant ceramic lining products produced by our company are widely used in coal washing, ferrous metal mine and nonferrous metal mine beneficiation processes. In the unit operation of iron, copper, gold, nickel and other metal mines, the metal recovery rate of beneficiation has been improved, the processing capacity per hour has been increased, and the economic benefit of beneficiation has been improved. This product is widely used in primary grinding, secondary grinding, concentrate regrinding and classification operations.

The hydrocyclone is mainly lined with polyurethane, AL2O3 or SiC, which can improve the service life of the cyclone. The hydrocyclone is assembled by of inlet, cylinder, cone, apex/spigots and pipes has an overflow box distribution box, etc.

Characteristics of hydrocyclone 92% Alumina Ceramic inserts:

1) Design special size ceramic tiles or plates to make its structure reasonable with small gaps, according to the shape of hydrocyclone cylinder, cone tube, underflow port tube and other parts.

2) The ceramic thickness is suggested as 20mm or 25mm. With dry pressing technique, the products have high density and excellent wear resistance.

3) High-strength modified adhesive and staggered joint bonding technology are adopted for the fixation of wear-resistant ceramics. The product has no linear gap and is firmly bonded without falling off. The product is applicable to severe working conditions such as high impact, large flow or dynamic operation.

4) The inner wall of products is smooth, which ensures the smooth sliding of materials. The height difference between internal ceramics is within 0.5mm. It can maintain the tangential velocity of the slurry in the hydrocyclone, reduce the energy loss, and obtain the ideal classification effect.

Characteristics of hydrocyclone SiC inserts:

1) According to the cyclone structure, it can be produced as an integral ceramic lining. In addition, SiC can be made into irregular structure in order to avoid excessive splicing gaps at the seriously worn position and increase the products’ service life.

2) The ceramic thickness is designed to be 8 to 30mm. The hardness of SiC is next to that of diamond. SiC inserts have excellent wear resistant performance. Its service life is about 3 to 7 times that of 92% alumina ceramic inserts.

3) High-strength modified adhesive is adopted for the fixation of wear-resistant ceramics, which is suitable for severe conditions such as high impact, large flow or dynamic operation.

4) The inner wall is smooth. The splicing position uses the S-groove, which can maintain the tangential velocity of the slurry in the hydrocyclone, reduce the energy loss, and obtain the ideal grading effect.

5) SiC have self-lubricating properties, high hardness and long service life. It has excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistant performance. It can be compounded with rubber and polyurethane to have better impact resistance.
