In the vulcanization process, the conveyor belt is designed and manufactured with concave convex orderly grid bars or herringbone patterns. These striped grids are used to store mineral particles. 1. Operation speed:
Under the same other conditions, the faster the belt surface runs, the lower the enrichment ratio of sand gold is;
2. Slope of belt surface:
The slope of belt surface with 13 degrees to 15 degrees is good for sand gold. When other conditions are the same, the larger the slope is, the more likely it is to make the mineral particles distributed unevenly on the belt surface, and form a torrent at the same part, thus reducing the recovery rate. This is not conducive to sorting. At the same time, when the slope exceeds a certain limit, the movement speed of ore particles on the rebelt surface decreases.
3. Ore feeding amount:
When other conditions are the same, the greater the ore supply, the lower the enrichment ratio and recovery of placer gold. The larger the ore feeding amount is, the larger the belt surface flow is. Many minerals are washed away by the slurry on the belt surface before they can be deposited. The feeding amount needs to be adjusted according to the belt width and length.
4. Ore feeding concentration：
The higher the slurry concentration is, the lower the slurry velocity on the belt surface is. Unclear ore particle stratification will lead to the decrease of washing efficiency; If the feed concentration is too small, the slurry flow rate is too fast, thus reducing the recovery rate. Generally, the ore feeding concentration should be 30% - 40%.
5. Water supply
Generally, a certain amount of washing water is fed into the automatic sand gold washing machine to improve the enrichment ratio of sand gold. However, it is necessary to determine the most appropriate water supply through experiments.
